AMA Village Care makes it simple and transparent for families to find the right live-in caregiver. After a one-time application fee, families choose a support level based on the amount of guidance and services they’d like. Families also provide room, board, and a weekly stipend, customized to the caregiver’s experience, responsibilities, and local cost of living. To enhance the experience, optional add-ons are available—such as cultural training, coaching, mediation, and replacement coverage. Families and caregivers can also access growth opportunities like CPR training, child development workshops, and Christian ministry classes. With options like the Mentor-to-Mentor program and leadership roles, AMA fosters long-term growth, strong relationships, and a supportive, connected community.

College Semester Renewal Fee | $200
Renew your hosted college student’s contract for another semester for a small new contract renewal fee (Max 2 Semesters or 12 months)

Extend your existing caregiver’s contract for a new term without starting a new match. Perfect for families who want to continue care with someone they know and trust without the additional support and management needed. Still eligible for add-ons, classes, and growth opportunities. Stipends & Caregiver Pay:
Weekly stipends vary based on caregiver level of experience and individual contracts. Stipends are paid directly from host families to caregivers.
AMA Village Care is a matching and support service that connects families with independent caregivers. All live-in and live-out caregivers referred through AMA Village Care are independent contractors, not employees of AMA Village Care.

AMA Village Care is a referral, support, and resource-based organization that connects families with independent caregivers and provides opportunities for community members to support our mission through giving, sponsorship, and ministry-based outreach. AMA Village Care is not an employer or staffing agency and does not operate as a childcare provider.
For Host Families & Caregivers
Independent Contractor Status:
All caregivers referred through AMA Village Care are independent contractors and are not employees of AMA Village Care. Host families and caregivers enter into private, direct agreements that determine all aspects of the caregiving relationship, including expectations, duties, schedules, and compensation.No Employment Relationship:
AMA Village Care does not employ, supervise, or manage caregivers. We do not provide wages, benefits, insurance, or tax documentation. All payments are made directly from the host family to the caregiver, and AMA Village Care takes 0% of caregiver earnings.Stipend Guidelines:
Weekly stipend ranges provided by AMA Village Care are estimates only. Final compensation is agreed upon and documented by the caregiver and host family in a mutual written agreement. Additional stipends may be negotiated based on experience, training, certifications, or number of children — with documentation required.Liability:
AMA Village Care is not responsible for the conduct, performance, or disputes between caregivers and host families. While we offer support, matching services, and optional resources (such as coaching, mediation, and training), AMA Village Care does not assume legal liability for any outcomes related to caregiving arrangements.
For Sponsors & Donors
Support-Based Contributions:
Sponsors and donors contribute voluntarily to support AMA Village Care’s Christian outreach, cultural exchange, training, and family enrichment efforts. These contributions may be used for operational growth, scholarship programs, caregiver development, ministry activities, and other charitable purposes.Nonprofit Status Notice:
AMA Village Care is in the process of establishing formal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status through our “A Pondered Heart” Ministry Program. Until approval is confirmed, donations may not be considered tax-deductible. All donors will receive a receipt for their records and will be updated once tax-exempt status is approved.No Goods or Services Exchanged:
Donations and sponsorships are given freely, with no expectation of services, employment, or guarantees in return. Donors do not receive any legal stake in AMA Village Care programs or placements. Sponsorships of families or caregivers are optional and structured as charitable gifts, not employment contracts.Liability:
AMA Village Care is not liable for how sponsored funds are used beyond their designated purpose (e.g., caregiver training, child ministry materials, or scholarship support). While we aim for transparency and accountability, all gifts are made in good faith and without guarantee of specific outcomes.
