  • Trained, compassionate caregivers who become part of your family

  • Continued support from a team who truly cares

Whether you're in a big city or a small town, we’re here to match your family with someone who feels like home.

 In-Home Care vs. Traditional Daycare

Why More Families Are Choosing AMA Village Care

Choosing childcare isn’t just about convenience—it’s about trust, flexibility, and what’s best for your child’s development. AMA Village Care offers an alternative to high-cost, high-turnover daycare centers by bringing consistent, trained caregivers into your home and into your family's rhythm.

Tired of...

  • Cold, corporate daycare centers with high turnover?

  • Au pair agencies charging thousands with little personalized support?

  • Nanny apps where you're left to vet strangers alone?

  • Inflexible care options that don’t fit your family's schedule?

We were too. That’s why we built something better.

Childcare that feels like home—because it is.

At AMA Village Care, we’re not a franchise, app, or overpriced agency. We’re a values-driven village connecting families and caregivers through relationship-centered, in-home care. Here's how we’re redefining what childcare can be.

CAREGIVER BENEFITS

How Much Does It Cost to Become a Caregiver with AMA Village Care?

Unlike traditional au pair programs that often involve steep upfront costs and high agency fees, AMA Village Care is committed to making caregiver opportunities accessible, affordable, and empowering.

We eliminate unnecessary corporate fees and provide transparent, step-by-step support—so you can focus on building a meaningful future, not worrying about financial stress.

WE ARE THE DIFFERENCE

Typical Out Of Pocket Costs For Au Pairs:

Becoming an au pair typically involves $800–$1,400+ in out-of-pocket costs before departure. Expenses may include a program or application fee (ranging from $100 to $500+), a passport ($100–$150), visa fees like the J-1 visa application ($160) and SEVIS fee ($35–$220), a medical exam ($50–$200), and personal travel, prep, or certification expenses. There is also no incentive to complete your contract. Once matched, host families generally cover major living expenses such as airfare, housing, food, insurance, and a weekly stipend.

AMA VILLAGE CARE:

A one-time, nonrefundable $50 application fee officially registers you with AMA Village Care and covers your initial screening, eligibility check, and application review.

We also offer a 100% optional $250 Onboarding Support Service Membership, designed to help you shine. This includes professional resume and bio editing, interview coaching, profile curation, and support with required certifications like CPR and First Aid. Even better? If you successfully complete your caregiver contract, you can earn the $250 back as a bonus.

We offer ongoing incentives to grow, meaningful placement support, and continued access to our thriving AMA Village community, because here, you’re more than just a caregiver. You’re family.
